Puppies

Avallon Doberman puppies are born in a home environment where they receive care from me, a former veterinary technician, during the birthing process. From just a few days old, the puppies are gently exposed to a variety of stimuli that aid in their adaptability to different environments, in line with Early Socialization Interventions (ESI) and Early Socialization Needs (ESN). This exposure continues as they grow until they transition to their new homes.

At a few weeks of age, the weaning process begins. During this time, the puppies are introduced to soft puppy food, which is personally fed to them. This helps strengthen their bond and trust in humans while introducing them to the concept of food luring, a technique useful in training.

Around 6 weeks of age, temperament testing is conducted by a third party to evaluate the puppies' behavioral characteristics through a series of stimuli. Based on these evaluations, appropriate homes are recommended for each puppy, considering the preferences of potential owners.

Between 7 and 9 weeks, the puppies undergo ear cropping performed by Dr. Midgarden, who is highly regarded in the Midwest. Prospective owners can choose between a show crop or a medium crop style.

By 8 weeks of age or older, the puppies are prepared to transition to their new homes. Each puppy comes with several important features, including:
